Pita Dippers are a great alternative to tortilla chips – and these homemade dippers are a great alternative in taste too! This recipe also gives you a yogurt dip to try but you can substitute that for any kind of dip. These dippers would also be great with the Homemade Salsa recipe on this site. These can be stored in an air-tight container for a few days.
Step by Step Instructions
Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Put spinach, yogurt, salt, pepper and cucumber into a blender or food processor. Process for a minute until smooth.
Put dip into a bowl. Refrigerate until the chips are done.
Cut the pitas into 8 wedges.
On a baking sheet, arrange the wedges of pita bread in a single layer.
Spray pita wedges with cooking spray and then lightly sprinkle garlic powder on the top.
Bake until light golden and crispy (about 5 minutes).
Serve with yogurt dip.
Notes
You can make this recipe for a light lunch by adding a side salad or even by cutting up your favorite vegetables on the side.
