Pre-teens

Pre-teens are growing – and growing, and growing. Therefore, healthy and hearty meals are important to provide fuel to keep up with their growing bodies. Additional snacks or more frequent (but smaller) meals throughout the day might be necessary so be sure those lunchboxes are packed with plenty of healthy food! Pre-teens have a good idea of what they should be eating and what they shouldn’t be eating, which is important as many pre-teens buy some food while hanging out with friends. While you can’t be there to watch everything they eat, you can ensure that they are eating good, healthy meals at home.
